2. Make sure that no other programs are open and active when installing
SleepMultiMedia.
3. Press Control/Alt/Delete keys simultaneously to show all active
programs. Click on all active programs that are not needed at that time
and close each by clicking on End Task for each. The following programs
should be kept open if found to be open: Windows Explorer, Imgicon, Systray.
After installation of SleepMultiMedia reboot your computer or else some
programs may not work after you have closed them.
4. Close any Virus protection programs that you may be running.
5. Empty your temporary folder. Close all programs first. In Windows
Explorer, go to the Windows/Temp folder and delete the contents. Do the
same for Windows/Temporary Internet Files. Also, make sure the C:/TEMP
folder is empty.
6. Ensure that you have at least 100MB of space available on your
hard drive. If not, delete any unnecessary programs. Reboot your computer
before running SleepMultiMedia Setup.
7. Empty the Recycle Bin.
8. Perform Disk Cleanup, Scandisk and Disk Defragmenter. Go to START/PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/SYSTEM
TOOLS. Run Disk Cleanup first, then ScanDisk, then Disk Defragmenter.
After any or all of the above steps try reinstalling SleepMultiMedia.
