ISINST30 ERROR

Problem:
During setup of SleepMultiMedia a general protection error may occur in ISINST30 or _Ins0433._mp.

Cause:
This problem can occur as a result of a conflict between the setup program of SleepMultiMedia and other drivers that are loaded. In particular, if the MSWheel component of Microsoft Intellipoint 2.2, which controls the mouse, is loaded, you will see this error.

Resolution:
To proceed with SleepMultiMedia Setup do the following:

Disable MSWheel before running setup. To do this press Ctr-Alt-Delete, select MSWheel, and click End Task. Then Run SleepMultiMedia Setup.

If the above does not resolve the problem, delete the Microsoft IntelliPoint 2.2, run SleepMultiMedia Setup then reload MS IntelliPoint. To do this you must have the IntelliPoint software disks. If you do not have the disks you still can use your mouse but will not have control of the mouse Wheel.
Go to Windows START/ Programs/Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs and select IntelliPoint 2.2 and click on remove. Reboot your computer, then run SleepMultiMedia Setup. After installation of SleepMultiMedia you can reinstall MS IntelliPoint 2.2.

If you still have a problem with setup, delete all unnecessary drivers by press Ctr-Alt-Delete, and clicking End Task to close each driver. Be sure to keep Explorer.

If the above do not resolve your problem please call Sleep Multimedia Inc. at 914-722-9291 or fax to 914-722-4490.
